Fight, forgiveness and happiness

Sunday afternoon again... It is little cold here. The gloomy, cold english weather!!!

Yesterday, I was talking to somebody in kerala. She apparently fought with her sister and now they both cannot talk each other. Let me keep their privacy and not tell you the reason. They are not talking each other for a month now already. After listening to everything, as I knew my advises will not be heard, I decided to tell only this: "forget everything, go and talk to her. give a hug". She has thousands of things to tell whey she is hurt that her sister did not help her when she was in need.  And she has thousands of occasions to tell when and where she reached out to her sister whenever she was in need. She kept saying, she had forgiven many times!!

Apparently my heart went into a darker feeling when I finished the call. But then I started wondering again and again as usual why in this world we cannot take things easy. Why we cannot forgive each other like God. Why we cannot just understand that life is too short....

There is a very easy and quick solution I have whenever I am in these kind of troubles, which I believe worth mentioning. Whenever I think that I cannot go back to another person and sort out issues, or whenever I feel that I will do that later, I will quickly imagine that I will die today. Anyways, that is something possible, you never know when is your last breath. That will give a little tension inside, when I think of people whom I care about. But, trust me, that really works good! I will pick up the phone next moment and will talk to the other person, and does not matter I am hurt or he/she hurt, things are back to normal in seconds :). Try it at your own risk!!!

I again started thinking about our kerala or Indian background towards sadness, towards the complications of relationships... I think those movies have moved people so much that everybody thinks that life is too much of trouble.

I don't deny that there are beautiful movies. But most of our movies give wrong message to the normal human class that life is too complicated. Those movies always look to the darker areas of life, and forget the beauty of life. Some of malayalam movies have the tearful family stories. Why the hell malayalam family stories are always tearful, I have no clues...

If you are in a good mood today, I would recommend you to listen to the song "it's just another ordinary miracle today". It always keeps my spirits high... It is by Sarah McLachlan in movie Charlotte's web, a beautiful movie.  I have copied the lyrics down:

t's not that unusual when everything is beautiful
It's just another ordinary miracle today

The sky knows when its time to snow
You don't need to teach a seed to grow
It's just another ordinary miracle today

Life is like a gift they say
Wrapped up for you everyday
Open up and find a way
To give some of your own

Isn't it remarkable?
Like every time a raindrop falls
It's just another ordinary miracle today

Birds in winter have their fling
And always make it home by spring
It's just another ordinary miracle today

When you wake up everyday
Please don't throw your dreams away
Hold them close to your heart
Cause we are all a part
Of the ordinary miracle

Ordinary miracle
Do you want to see a miracle?

It seems so exceptional
That things just work out after all
It's just another ordinary miracle today

The sun comes up and shines so bright
It disappears again at night
It's just another ordinary miracle today

Ooohh Oooohh

It's just another ordinary miracle today
